My concern is the Proposed Amendment 2.B) & C). I would appreciate it if you would consider the following provision:
"When a property is contiguous to & surrounded by lots with existing structures constructed below the water surface elevation of the 100 year event (when determined by a preparing engineer), do NOT elevate pad height more than the allowed 2 feet & FLOOD PROOF structures & outdoor living ares DURING CONSTRUCTION."
Applies to FLATLAND, NOT SFHA, NO history of stormwater problems.

Regardless of what Council ultimately decides about Pad Height policy, building permits currently in Town review should be treated under long-standing “old” policy. Changing policy after applicant has purchased/spent money in reliance on how PV has always treated PAD heights isn’t the way PV has ever done business. Hopeful Town will consider new policy only apply once formally adopted to applications received post-adoption.
