A. 23-012 Discussion of whether a sidewalk on the east side of Mockingbird Lane should be included in improvements from Lincoln Drive to McDonald Drive
I would love to see a sidewalk added to increase pedestrian safety on both sides of the street and to encourage more students to walk to school, church, or local conveniences. What makes this even better is that it is being funded by a grant and what better time to make our neighborhood more accessibility for all residents then when someone else is paying for it. Also, I think sidewalks make neighbors more friendly. And thats a good thing- helps us look out for each other.
My name is Bill Osborn. I have resided for the last 7 years at 6717 E. Rovey Ave in the Rancho Valencia Neighborhood. Mockingbird is a safe and clean street and I am in favor of duel sidewalks because of the importance of safety for PV citizens and in particular, the safety of our local children, as well as beneficial with the anticipated increase of traffic with the Ritz Development Project.
