Corner vision requirements were not studied by Town engineers although it is warranted given the location. Maricopa Cty Transportation and City of Scottsdale Design Stds & Policy Manual recommend vision requirements be designed for 10 mph above the posted 40 mph speed limit on this stretch. Vision requirements would be 500 feet in each direction, not a 50 foot triangle. Sign is larger than code. There is no lack of property to install a compliant sign which would identify the church property.
